How it works

Annually we recognize colleagues throughout the organization who live the Medisca values and who shined last fiscal year in sales. Nominees for the value awards are chosen by people who have experienced their impact
first-hand: you! All Medisca personnel are eligible for a nomination and winners will be selected based on the number of nominations, the stories told by you, and by their leaders.

Medisca Value Awards 

Honoring those who have displayed remarkable commitment this last year in living the Medisca values; the heart and backbone of our organization. 

  • Criteria:

    The person who goes above and beyond to support others and make everyone feel like a valuable team member.

    • Work effectively with others. 

    • Demonstrate behaviors that promote positive team morale. 

    • Place the success of their team ahead of their personal goals. 

    • Show initiative to take on extra tasks when needed. 

    Recognizing last year’s winner:

    Taking home last year’s award was Vanessa Iacobo – Territory Sales Manager in Canada and loyal colleague, celebrating over 14 years at Medisca.

  • Criteria: 

    The person whose passion for the job is second to none. Someone whose energy is contagious and is always willing to go the extra mile. 

    • Cares about colleagues and the success of Medisca. 

    • Provides value, consistency, responsiveness, and loyalty.  

    • Delivers quality of a high standard. 

    • Uses feedback to improve. 

    Recognizing last year’s winner:  

    Taking home last year’s award was Krista Bosshart – R&D Technical Support for Devices and Equipment and dedicated team member, celebrating over 7 years at Medisca. 

  • Criteria: 

    The person you can always count on to bring their A-game. They work hard, never settle, and strive to bring out the best in themselves and those around them.  

    • Follows processes and effectively delivers on their work commitments. 

    • Uses logic and creative methods to address challenges and find better ways. 

    • Explores new opportunities and innovative approaches. 

    • Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety protocols and fosters safe work environments. 

    Recognizing last year’s winner:  

    Taking home last year’s award was Michael Wong – Quality Manager for British Columbia and dedicated, patient leader, celebrating over 16 years at Medisca. 

  • Criteria: 

    The person you can talk to. Someone who will listen to what you have to say, understand where you’re coming from, and work with you to find a solution. 

    • Establishes and maintains genuine and trusting relationships.  

    • Acts with integrity to always do the right thing.  

    • Encourages open conversations and listens to others with full attention.  

    • Demonstrates empathy and support for others.  

    Recognizing last year’s winner:  

    Taking home last year’s award was Michael Levin – Senior Business Development Executive and  supportive colleague, celebrating over 7 years at Medisca.

  • Criteria:

    The person who is willing to step outside of their comfort zone. They are eager to learn and are not afraid to embrace change and explore new opportunities. 

    • Demonstrates a quest for learning, growing, and improving oneself.  

    • Takes initiative and works proactively.  

    • Maintains a positive attitude in the midst of change and challenges.  

    Recognizing last year’s winner:  

    Taking home last year’s award was Hayley Paul – Business Process Analyst and reliable team player, celebrating 5 years at Medisca.

Medisca Peak Sales Achiever Award  

Honoring our sales stars who are out there every day, growing our organization, and delivering personalized business solutions to our customers and partners.

  • Criteria:

    Three awards: MUS market, MCA market, and MAU/EM market. 

    • You surpassed your budgeted quota by the highest percentage in FY24. 

    • You achieved the highest average contribution margin in FY24. 

    • You demonstrated you live the Medisca values.  

    Recognizing last year’s winners:  

    Taking home last year’s awards were: 

    • Kayla Duarte – Acting Territory Sales Manager, United States

    • Kyle Marshall – Business Development Executive, Canada 

    • Monica Zarzour – Account Executive, Australia  

  • Criteria: 

    • One global recognition award for a high performer in MUS, MCA, MAU/EM sales.  

    • You sold the greatest number of MAZ units and submitted the highest number of leads in FY24.  

    • You demonstrated you live the Medisca values.
